A DREAM

I had a dream. I dreamed The voice of the Red Thread. Twin books to keep and give. Our voices and our hands binding cloth into leaves. And so was born this undertaking.

THE TRADITION

Where for a thousand generations women spun from raw material every thread for every shirt or robe or tunic, the sacred thread surely became a daily visual prayer. We women sit together, we make, we create, we bind, we heal, we grow: we stitch the days together. And for delight we cast in a scarlet thread.
